Greeley is where the dogs are this August.

Every year dogs and their owners head to Island Grove Regional Park at 501 N 14th Ave in Greeley. There, seriously trained pups who are groomed to perfection compete for titles.

Year after year, dog trainers come back to the Rainbow Motel to stay for these events. They find the Rainbow’s amenities and cleanliness are precisely to their liking.

This year’s main 2026 dog show—the Greeley Kennel Club All-Breed Dog Show—features the Greeley Kennel Club, American Brittany Club and Mile-Hi Golden Retriever Club and more:

• August 13–14, 2026 (Thursday & Friday): Specialty shows, sweepstakes, junior showmanship, and obedience/rally trials (including Mile-Hi Golden Retriever Club and other regional specialties).

• August 14, 2026 (Friday): American Brittany Club specialty events and Greater Denver Dalmatian Club specialty shows.

• August 14–17, 2026 (Friday – Monday): American Brittany Club Summer Specialty (agility, obedience, dock diving, and scent testing).

• August 15–17, 2026 (Saturday – Monday): Greeley Kennel Club All-Breed Shows (3 all-breed shows, 2 hound group shows, over 23 breed specialties, obedience/rally trials, and the AKC National Owner-Handled Series on Saturday).

Admission is free for humans and the show hours run 8AM to 7PM.
